Sean Blaine – Owner/Outfitter: Born and raised on a lake in N. Idaho, it was natural for my first exposure to water came at a very early age. I literally grew up on the water chasing bass and panfish as a youngster and later moved on to fly tackle and trout in my teens. From these first experiences I knew there was something special about water and the creatures that call it home. I also knew that I wanted it as part of my life from then on.
After graduating college and serving in the military, I moved to Bozeman to accept a position working in a fly shop. Originally I intended to only be here for one summer, but as with many who intend “just as short visit” to this corner of Big Sky Country I found leaving was much harder and started my professional fly-fishing career.
Considered by many to be the epicenter of trout fishing in the lower 48, Bozeman is home base.
Since then I have continued to hone my fly fishing skills both as a guide here in Montana as well as Argentina and Chile during our long, cold and often fishless winters. When not guiding I’m often on the water; checking out new water and just enjoying the many angling options this great area has to offer. I can guide you on any of the areas many rivers, streams and lakes. Sharing my lifetime’s worth of accumulated knowledge, experience and enthusiasm for your day on the water.
