The Yellowstone River is located 25 miles east of Bozeman. This is a very unique river begining in Wyoming and then gathering water from small and large tributaries as it flows through Yellowstone National Park. As it flows through the small Montana town of Gardiner it leaves the boundaries of the park and becomes the Yellowstone fly fishers travel from all over the world to float. and flows north to the Missouri River at the Montana/North Dakota border. A river with exceptional scenery boasting large populations of wild Rainbows, Browns, and Yellowstone Cutthroat Trout make this free flowing river a wonderful place to fly fish in Montana. We have Yellowstone River guides on this river every day from early June through September.
